Game Center
We are so excited to announce that the opening of the Student Center is right around the corner, and with it, the opening of our brand new Game Center! Based on the information that was provided to us by the Student Center think tank and most importantly, input from the students themselves, we are putting together a Game Center that you won't ever want to leave.
The Game Center features four plasma screen tv's. Attached to each are the three major gaming consoles, XBox 360, Wii, and Play Station 3. Video games include: Mario Kart, Wii Sports, Guitar Hero 5, Fight Night Rd.4, Madden 10, Halo 3, and MANY, MANY MORE! In addition, the Game Center includes pool tables, ping-pong tables, an air hockey table, a foosball table, and a shuffleboard table. If you think that's great, we will also have a wide selection of popular board games!
Students may use their IDs to check out any recreational things needed, including video games and controllers (or you can bring your own) to use with the gaming console that is already connected to the appropriate television. The game center will feel like being right at home on the couch, except on a 60 inch hi-definition television. New games will be added monthly based on student voting: the game with the most votes will be purchased for the Game Center.
I hope you are as stoked as we are for the grand opening. We have been putting in a ton of work, but there is still plenty to be done.
