Student Events Board
The Student Events Board is an organization run by students to create a vibrant campus environment through quality events based on student interest.
All students interested in participating in the Student Events Board are invited to attend our weekly meetings, join a programming committee, or co-sponsor an event.
How can we better serve you? Please e-mail Michelle Firmin (mfirmin2@washcoll.edu) with your event ideas and comments on how we can make your campus experience even better. Or you can stop by the office and put your comments in our suggestion box.
Mission
The Student Events Board is a student run and staff advised organization. The SEB works to empower students to become better leaders by giving students an opportunity to join and work with the organization. The Student Events Board strives to create a vibrant campus environment through continuous event production, gauging student interests, and planning events that cater to all students on and off campus. Because the organization is for the students, the SEB attempts to encompass a wide range of social programming, including, but not limited to, large concerts, small concerts, parties, game nights, movie nights, sporting events, dances, carnivals, game shows, and comedians.

May Day Revolution
May Day has been a Washington College tradition since the 60s, as a way for students to blow off steam before finals week, last year in honor of the upcoming festivities, the SEB held a festival which featured live music, fun inflatables, a giant obstacle course, a paint balloon fight from the Service Council, the Equestrian Team's kiss a pig contest, as well as an out door picknick. Just wait and see what we come up with for this year!
Comedy Week
Comedy week is a week of well what else? Comedy! SEB puts on a host of activites for an entire week every Fall semester based around comedy, with a headliner act to close off the week!
